Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between Triangu LLC, 444 W. Lake St. Suite 1700, Chicago, IL 60606, United States (“we” or “us”), and the company that installs the Zendesk OData PowerBI Integration, “you”. By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you install the app for a company, you confirm that you can agree on its behalf.
1. The service
Section titled “1. The service”The app connects your Zendesk Support account to Microsoft Power BI. It lets your agents create datasources and API tokens, and delivers Zendesk data to Power BI as OData feeds. It also includes Power BI report templates.
Zendesk and Power BI are products of other companies, with their own terms. You need your own accounts and licenses for them.
2. Accounts and access
Section titled “2. Accounts and access”- A Zendesk admin installs the app for your Zendesk account. Each agent then connects their own Zendesk account.
- The app reads Zendesk with the access of the agent who connected it, and only for reading.
- You are responsible for who in your company can use the app, and for keeping API tokens secret. Anyone with a valid token can read the datasources it opens. If a token may have been exposed, revoke it straight away.
- You are responsible for what people do with reports built on your data, including who you share them with in Power BI.
3. Price and payment
Section titled “3. Price and payment”- The price is $50 per month for each Zendesk account, however many agents use it. Prices are in US dollars and don’t include taxes.
- You subscribe and pay through the Zendesk Marketplace, before the app is installed. Payments are processed by Stripe.
- You are charged when you first install the app, and then on the first day of each monthly billing period, until you cancel.
- If a payment fails, the app may be locked until the payment is made.
- We may change the price. We’ll tell you at least 30 days before, and the new price applies from your next billing period after that.
4. Cancelling and refunds
Section titled “4. Cancelling and refunds”- You can cancel at any time by uninstalling the app in Zendesk or by cancelling the subscription in the Zendesk Marketplace.
- Uninstalling doesn’t undo a charge that has already been made. If you uninstall a day or two after the start of a billing period, that period is still charged, so plan uninstalls around your billing date.
- Payments are not refundable, including for part of a month, except where the law requires otherwise or as described in section 12.
5. Your data
Section titled “5. Your data”- Your Zendesk data stays yours. You give us permission to process it only to provide the service to you.
- We don’t store your tickets. How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
- You confirm that you have the right to let us process the data in your Zendesk account for this purpose.
- If you need a data processing agreement (DPA), email us.
6. Acceptable use
Section titled “6. Acceptable use”Don’t use the app to:
- break the law or anyone’s rights;
- get access to data you aren’t allowed to see;
- overload, attack, reverse-engineer or resell the service;
- get around its security or its usage limits.
We may suspend access that puts the service or other customers at risk. We’ll tell you why, unless the law or security doesn’t allow it.
7. Report templates
Section titled “7. Report templates”You may use, copy and change the Power BI templates for your own company’s reporting. You may not sell or redistribute them as a product.
8. Our rights
Section titled “8. Our rights”The app, the service and the templates belong to us. These terms don’t give you any rights to them beyond using the service. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.
9. Availability and support
Section titled “9. Availability and support”- We work to keep the service available, but we don’t promise it will never be interrupted. There is no service level agreement.
- The service depends on Zendesk and its API, including Zendesk’s rate limits, and on Power BI. We aren’t responsible for their outages or changes.
- We may change or improve the service. If a change removes an important feature, we’ll tell you in advance.

10. Disclaimer
Section titled “10. Disclaimer”The service is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we make no other promises, for example that it fits a particular purpose or is free of errors. Check important figures in your reports against Zendesk.
11. Limitation of liability
Section titled “11. Limitation of liability”As far as the law allows:
- neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit, lost revenue or lost data;
- our total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
12. Ending the agreement
Section titled “12. Ending the agreement”- These terms apply from when you install the app until your subscription ends.
- We may end the agreement if you seriously break these terms and don’t fix it within 14 days of our notice, or straight away for illegal use.
- We may stop offering the app. We’ll tell you at least 60 days in advance and refund any fees paid for the time after it stops.
- When the agreement ends, the feeds stop working. We delete the data we store for your account within 30 days of your request, as described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these terms
Section titled “13. Changes to these terms”We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you at least 30 days in advance. If you keep using the app after that, the new terms apply.
14. Law and disputes
Section titled “14. Law and disputes”These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Chicago, Illinois, unless the law of your country says otherwise.
